Part-Time Educational Assistant

H.A. Kostash School, located in Smoky Lake, provides educational services to approximately 400 students in a GB-12 setting.

H.A. Kostash School is seeking a 0.8 temporary Early Childhood Educator; this position will commence on August 25, 2025 and end on June 26, 2026.

The successful candidate must be reliable and a self-starter who is able to work independently with 3-5 year old students in small groups, requiring individual attention or students with complex needs.

This successful candidate will be expected to implement strategies provided by contracted service providers including the speech language pathologist and occupational therapist. This individual will be required to plan and implement programming based on the FLIGHT curriculum and work closely with a teacher to assist in the running of the Great Beginnings Program.

The current salary will be in accordance with the CUPE pay grid based on training and experience. Applicants must have their Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification.
